It was my last few days in Italy and I liked spending it in a colorful way. After we covered Venice’s famous land marks we went to these beautiful islands which are about an hour from Main Island of Venice.

BURANO ISLAND – Burano is an island in the Venetian Lagoon, northern Italy, near Torcello at the northern end of the lagoon, known for its lace work and brightly colored homes. This is such a unique place with a calm atmosphere. The most interesting thing where you will make thousands of astonishing photos & Lots of restaurants with fresh seafood dishes. Most shops sell lace products which Burano is famous for.

MURANO ISLAND – Murano is a series of islands linked by bridges in the Venetian Lagoon, northern Italy. So well known for glass making. I Visited glass factory but unfortunately Photography was not allowed inside the glass museum, still I saw a live demo of making glass artworks, where they allowed to capture the videos & pictures. I never imagined that I got a chance to see these mind boggling glass show pieces. The town shops close around 5pm. Surprisingly 80% of glass pieces produced and manufactured here are exported to the rest of the world.

LIDO ISLAND – The Lido island, is an 11-kilometre-long barrier island in the Venetian Lagoon, northern Italy.This the best place to see wonderful sunsets over Venice, There is a good film festival and other events every year at the Bienalle Di Venezia on Lido. The Venice Carnival is world famous. The beaches are on the Lido.
